Some notes

(1) William Clarke of Yarrabah aged 21 years married Jane Brown (born Blackwater Queensland, mother Maggie) of Yarrabah aged 22 years on 4.12.1907 at St Alban's Church, Yarrabah.  

(2) Billy Jagar (King of the Barron) died at the Aboriginal camp, Cairns on 6 March 1930.

(3) There was a Billy Boyle aged about 50 years at Coen in October 1933.

(4) A Billy Boyle, born around 1887, married Grace Baker, born around 1896, on 19.11.1939 at Yarrabah.

(5) In "Living with the Munpitch: The history of Mitchell River Mission, 1905 - 1967" Ernest Bounghi is mentioned on page 239 as coming to the Mission from Yarrabah with Ernest Gribble.

(6) "Reaching back : Queensland Aboriginal people recall early days at Yarrabah Mission" edited by Judy Thomson, Canberra, ACT, Aboriginal Studies Press, 1989, on page 101 states Janey Brown who came from Mareeba was the wife of Willie Clark, mother of Steve

Kooma People's Native Title Consent Determination Authorisation Meeting to be held 10 May 2014.

The claim area is roughly the area bounded by Wyandra, Cunnamulla, Tego, Hebel, Dirranbandi and St George.
