  6. Thanks Paul - the dates I have for Donald; born 1894 - died 1933. So that could possibly be him!
The following info is from The State Library of QLD:
Donald’s father non-Indigenous & mother South Sea Islander & Aboriginal.
Donalds grandfather was South Sea Islander / grandmother Aboriginal from the Kabi Kabi tribe, of Dunwich.
He was taken to Yarrabah Mission.

Do you know of any helpful websites and/or other resources that could possibly help me with knowing more about him?

    Thank you so much!

  13. There was a bit of a BIG Kangaroo Jump: "This meeting was held after the superintendent of the dunwich benevolent raised letter with Meston regarding complaining of their night time presence on the sight". Is the letter about women's babies and fathers and the meeting related, and how?
Wasn't Alberta the eldest of eleven? "Anonymous19 June 2023 at 16:50"
