  1. So I am a wee bit lost in this. I have forefathers with the name Sandy from approximately this area. We have two names that were passed down in each generation (which has made this slightly easier) which were Sarah for girls and Sunny for boys. Sandy was the name of the "oldest" elder I can find. I only learned that any of this existed over an awkward Christmas lunch so I am brand new to the research of it all. WIth very few actual birth certificates in existence (like almost none, and I understand why) I am relying on scraps of random information from a host of sites, and have already been thwarted with incorrect info several times. Anyway, just wanted to say that this site is a WEALTH of detail that is nowhere else that I can find. So thank you. It looks like a lot of work has been put into it over the decade.
