ReplyDeleteHi is there any possible information on a man myrtle douglas born about 1882 he's my 3x great grandfather. Found a few articles on trove stating he was from Mitchell and palmer River country which is gugu yalanji country, he was sent to cherbourg and married my 2x nan linda piggott waanyi women in 1917. He had a brother Toby Douglas was born in 1901 in Queensland, the son of Jessie/Nellie and Billy. He had one son and one daughter with Lizzie between 1914 and 1924. He died on 6 December 1966 in Mareeba, Queensland, at the age of 65. Just looking for any family connection or possible information
